I want to downgrade to an older Postman version because the v11 I'm currently using feels heavy and bloated. And I'm not even on v12 which is now, apparently, an everything app with AI which I never asked for.
Official Download Site
You can try to build your own link using the following format: https://dl.pstmn.io/download/version/{VERSION}/{PLATFORM}. Use version numbers from postman.com/release-notes/postman-app. Some of the official older download links to legacy releases that are still alive:
| Version | Date | Linux | OS X | Windows |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10.24.26 | 2024-05-21 | 138 MB | 130 MB | 137 MB |
| 9.31.32 | 2024-05-22 | 159 MB | 161 MB | 155 MB |
| 7.36.7 | 2021-11-25 | 111 Mb | 119 MB | ? MB |
| 6.7.4 | ? | 404 | 404 | 404 |
Version 6 and version 7 (except for 7.36.7) links are dead on the official site.
Web Archive Wayback Machine
Wayback Machine to the rescue! Some of the original binaries no longer available on the official site were archived in the Wayback Machine, and you can narrow down to the major version by putting the number into the URL.
You can narrow down further if you start typing the platform name into the "filter results" input on the top right of the table.
As always, do donate to the Web Archive if it helped you.
